a startup ethnicity | from black to bronze
Bronze is a startup ethnicity for non-heterosexual and non-cisgender persons of African descent (25% or more) who are interested in joining a prosperous, success-focused, ethnicity aimed at excellence, economic independence, and fostering healing, creativity, and wellbeing. Not all Black LGBTQ persons will identify as bronze. This is good. Bronze is a unique startup and may not be a great fit for all persons. Similar to Jewish rites, one must undergo a conversion process to become bronze.
Bronzeness will operate like any other ethnicity or race. The offspring of bronze people will be bronze, as will their offspring, and so on. This means that over time, the bronze community will consist of both non-heterosexual and heterosexual persons, with heterosexual persons becoming 50% or more of the ethnicity. An alternative to black identity, the founders of bronze envision a chic, success-focused startup ethnicity with its own refined traditions, customs, and norms.
bronzeness is a birthplace of peace
Separatism Can Birth Peace: Separation Theory
Bronze separation is a thesis about the physics of peace. Rather than continuing to advocate for humane treatment, begging for cultural change that is unlikely to occur, or remaining in an environment where our well-being is under threat, what if we gave up the fight? What if we let people be who they are and simply invent something new? Ethical separation brings peace without requiring social change. Social change is not the only pathway to change.
Separation is more than this. It is also a form of acceptance. Separation theory argues that it is in the constant search for an acceptance-that-is-just-not possible that is a key source of pain. If, for example, a mother has abandoned her child and if that child is unable to accept their abandonment, self-destruction will follow. We believe this “impossible search” for love keeps one in constant contortions: constantly hiding ourselves, constantly self-amputating our creativity and expressiveness; it keeps one in a dynamic where repulsion, insults, and dehumanization are norms. Like those in abusive relationships, most black lgbtq folks are likely in blind denial about the trauma that such abuse creates. At the same time, the prospect of inventing something new becomes a historically unique opportunity. With a near-maniacal focus on futurism—of innovation in tech, art, and ideas, and an embrace of free markets, bronze people can custom-create a separate identity that will enrich generations far into the future.
Separation offers prevention, diffusing embers of violence. Separation, then, not only allows all sides to maintain their beliefs, politics, and faiths, but by preventing violence, it brings peace.
Separation creates peace for all involved. While separation creates peace for Bronze people and the freedom to live as they want, it also enables peace across the African diaspora, for those who remain opposed to non-traditional families and relationships.

Bronze is a startup ethnicity for nonheterosexual persons of African descent, seeking to escape entrenched diasporic homophobia via ethical divestment and the creation of new communities. A startup ethnicity is an ethnic startup that combines components of both a technology startup and an ethnicity. A solution to problems of cultural impasses, separation enables a peaceful resolution of these impasses. A proponent of Separation Theory and Network States, we believe that ethical separatism is the last step in achieving global peace in the new millennium without endless pushes for tolerance. Extremely beneficial in the leaps they have achieved for human progress, enlightenment approaches are likely at the limits of their ‘addressable market’, reaching impasses that lie beyond the tolerance/ intolerance binary. In its wake, separatist solutions will be the new nonviolent post-enlightenment path to peace and prosperity for the world’s populations

Because we believe that 1) the architecture of black identity makes acceptance impossible, and due 2) to the unusually extreme conditions black queer people face globally due to the extreme homophobia found in all black countries, cultures, collectives, and communities is likely permanent, we propose creating a new startup ethnic group for the racially displaced. Persons who identify as this new category will be known as bronze persons. Like black, brown, or white persons, bronze persons will develop their own separate ethnic identity and culture. While seeking a separate legal status may become an aim, this is not required. An entirely elective new ethnic identity, black lgbtq persons will be free to choose to remain or transition to this new startup ethnicity.

Yes. Ashkenazi jews and Shepardic jews were once part of the same community. Creating an ethnicity from scratch offers a rare opportunity to start over. We can take the best practices from other cultures, and custom design an ethnicity that not only enables us to exist, but which reflects the very best practices. This means high standards from the start, and leaving behind practices that don’t work.

The conversion process is currently being designed. For those for whom it is a fit, the process will focus on economic self-sufficiency, healing, and self-empowerment, and will include new rites of bronze identity as well as education about the future of the bronze identity

Bronze is a startup ethnicity for non-heterosexual and non-cisgender persons of African descent (25% or more) who are interested in joining a prosperous, success-focused, ethnicity aimed at excellence, economic independence, and fostering healing, creativity, and wellbeing. Similar to Jewish rites, one must undergo a conversion process to become bronze. The offspring of a bronze person is also bronze, as are their offspring. Thus, over time the bronze ethnicity will look like other ethnicities, but will be without the homophobia that imperil and stain many others. Because of a focus on producing a prosperous, educated culture, it may not be a good fit for those who are opposed to free-markets or whose politics are anti-prosperity.

The decision to use the terms non-heterosexual over gay or lesbian and non-cisgender of transgender stems from two realities:
The first is descriptive inclusivity of an entire range of identities. There is asymmetric diversity when comparing heterosexual and non-heterosexual sexuality, with the latter being far less diverse, straightforward, and less prone to evolution. Thus, rather than a term that seeks to capture a wide-ranging, ever-changing, collection of self-identifications. it is both simpler and far more inclusive to use the term, non-heterosexual which encompassed everyone from abstinent non-heterosexual persons to pansexuals. Similarly non-cisgender skips the problem of demaracting those who may be intersex from those who prefer other identifications. Since not being cisgender is the aspect shared by this group, “non-cisgender” becomes a perfect encompassing term that obviates the categorization problems inherent to non-standard biologies.
The second motivation for the use of the terms is in its modernism. As new scientific findings emerge regarding the biology of human difference (and these are emerging slowly), new scientific findings—-powered by AI—- will reveal far more human complexity than is captured by pre-modern umbrella categories such as lgbtq. Since bronze people are forging a distinct identity that is beyond lgbtq labels, concepts and identities, the semantic baggage of the lgbtq+ label makes forging this new path easier and the creation of a new identity less challenging.
To conclude, “non-heterosexual” and “non-cisgender” are simpler, more accurate and inclusive, more conducive to inevitable evolutions in identity, self-identifications, and scientific discoveries. Lastly, because of the tern’s freedom from the semantic baggage tied to LGBT+ identities, it is in alignment with bronze people’s desire to construct a new identity.

Adopting an acceptance model, we are a group of non-heterosexual persons of African descent who believe that walking away is an act of love for self and a means of respecting the cultures of the diaspora. In a separate ethnicity, one can self-actualize, build wealth, and prosper creatively and personally. Like separating from an abusive partner, this post-tolerance approach is about the possibility of peace for both bronze people who can be themselves and peace for global black populations who refuse to accept lgbtq persons and communities. For the Bronze Liberation Movement, peace is the decision to stop an impossible fight, accept our reality, and start anew.

The Bronze Liberation movement acknowledges that the anti-LGBTQ sentiment that is found across significant portions of the diaspora does not reflect the beliefs of all its members. However, the deep entrenchment and exceptionally extreme reaction against non-heterosexual and non-cisgender persons across nearly all corners is too significant and likely permanent. Just like the decision to leave an abusive partner, separation is about the prospect of an abuse-free future in which self actualization is possible. It is the impossibility of being ones authentic self that births “DL” culture, repressed rage that turns into domestic violence and acting out, and more. This refusal of difference births repression that is the root cause of a large number of related problems. An obsession with who is gay reflects a cultural norm in which normal relations are probably impossible, and where divestment is the only durable, peace-creating solution for all.
